Terms of sale for Plenipo Pro and Partner

These terms cover buying a Plenipo Pro or Partner subscription from 8 West Ventures, LLC ("8 West", "we", "us"). Your rights to use the Plenipo software itself come from the Elastic License 2.0, which these terms don't change.

What you buy

A Plenipo Pro or Partner subscription lifts the limits of Plenipo's Free edition, as described in Plenipo's "Free and Pro" page. You get a license key by email and on your account page. You enter it in Plenipo under Settings → License.

• Pro is for one owner's own business. Its key covers up to 3 organizations.
• Partner is for IT companies and agencies that run Plenipo for clients, one plan per technician. Its key covers 10, 25, or any number of organizations, depending on the plan.

Every plan includes all of Pro; the plans differ only in how many organizations their key covers. Plenipo counts organizations on your own computer. It never sends that count to us.

One subscription is for one person, on any of their own computers. A team, or a Partner company, buys one subscription for each person. Please don't share your key with anyone else.

Prices

Yearly plans cost the same as 10 months: 2 months free. Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added where it applies, and is shown before you pay.

Paying

You pay through Stripe, our payment company. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us. Stripe emails your receipts.

Renewal

Your subscription renews by itself at the end of each month or year, at the price you chose, until you cancel. Stripe emails you a reminder before a yearly renewal. If we ever change the price, we will email you before you are charged the new price.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time, on your account page under Manage billing. Your plan stays on until the end of the time you already paid for. Then Plenipo goes back to Free, and nothing you made is lost.

Refunds

• There are no refunds for part of a month or year.
• If you ask within 14 days of your subscription's first payment, we refund that first payment in full. A refunded first payment ends the subscription, and Plenipo goes back to Free.

• 8 West may choose to refund more in other cases.

If a payment fails

Stripe tries your card again over the following days and emails you, so you can update it. Your plan stays on while Stripe keeps trying. If Stripe still can't collect the payment, the subscription ends and Plenipo goes back to Free, with nothing lost.

Switching plans

You can switch between plans (Pro or Partner, monthly or yearly) under Manage billing. Stripe shows what the change costs before you confirm it. A move to a cheaper or shorter plan starts when the time you already paid for ends.

When a switch changes how many organizations your key covers, or moves you between Pro and Partner, you get a new license key by email and on your account page. Your old key keeps working for 14 days, so you have time to enter the new one. Switching between monthly and yearly on the same plan keeps your key.

Partners' own copy

8 West may give a Partner a free copy for its own internal use. It comes with a key that works until a date 8 West sets, and with no subscription.

The weekly license check

Once a week, a paid copy of Plenipo checks with us that your subscription is still paid. It sends only your license key number and Plenipo's version number. If the check can't reach us, your plan keeps working for up to 30 days, so being offline, or an outage on our side, doesn't switch it off. Our privacy notice says more.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and email subscribers about changes that matter before they apply.
